

Cavities
Niowave fabricates custom cavities for superconducting accelerator
construction. Made from high RRR niobium or copper, cavities can
be fabricated from an existing design, or based on Niowave
modeling. Niowave has constructed low and high frequency cavities
with a large range of accelerating Betas. Niowave has experience
with quarter-wave, half-wave, electron-emission, and elliptical cavity
types.
Tubes
Niowave fabricates custom tubes and tube assemblies. Constructed from high RRR
niobium and copper, the tubes can be formed and electron-beam seamed to a specified
diameter and length (2, 3, 4 mm thickness). Some stock sizes are available.
Flanges
Niowave fabricates Niobium-Titanium (Nb45-Ti)
flanges. Made to be welded to high RRR tube
assemblies, the flanges can be fabricated with
knife-edge sealing, grooves for diamond seals,
or with surface finish for indium seals. Knife-edge
seals fit standard copper gaskets, or custom gaskets.
End Assemblies & Nb-Ti Conflat
Niowave fabricates custom end assemblies. Made from high RRR niobium or copper, end
assemblies are formed and electron-beam seamed with / without additional radial ports.
Gaskets & Superconducting RF Joints
Niowave fabricates custom gaskets. Made from high
RRR niobium or copper, gaskets can be made to fit
standard conflat flanges or custom flanges. Gaskets
can be made with different center hole arrangements.
Helium Vessels
Niowave fabricates custom Helium vessels that are medically sealed to the niobium
cavities. Vessels made from Titanium, Stainless Steel, or Niobium are standard. Joining
methods include electron beam welding, TIG welding and brazing.
